Thank you for logging on to the JUST MUSIC Brass Band & Wind Band on line store. We believe we currently have the most comprehensive stock of brass band music in the UK. Our catalogue is constantly being added to with new publications ( at least once per week - sometimes daily ! ).

While we have a vast stock of music we are in fact a small company, able to offer a fast, efficient and personal service. We cannot guarantee to have absolutely every single title in stock at any one time because the size of our catalogue makes this very difficult, however we do guarantee to fill all orders very quickly - our growing number of customers all over the world will vouch for this..

Ordering

Please allow FIVE to SEVEN working days for you order to reach you, although we aim to dispatch your order much faster than this, please be patient at busy times.

Normal business hours are 9.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. If phoning out with these times you will be connected with our answering machine, which will record any urgent orders or messages that you may have.
The good news here is that there are only two options on our phone system - 1.SALES for placing on order (or enquiring about an order) or 2.ACCOUNTS for all invoice or account enquiries.!

The Progress of your Order

Having placed your order, you will receive emails confirming that it was

  1. received by JUST MUSIC, that
  2. we have processed your order, and finally
  3. when your order was dispatched. You can also track the progress of your order(s) from 'My Account' on the website.

Availability

Our on-line catalogue marks each item as either (i) 'Available', (ii) 'Out of Print', (iii) 'Reprinting' (iv) 'In-preparation' or (v) 'Currently Unavailable'. This information is updated from our server every two weeks - so it is possible that items marked as 'Available' may actually have sold out by the time your order is placed. Conversely, out of stock items may have been received into stock during the working day. The term 'Currently Unavailable' means that we are currently unable to obtain supplies of this title for any one of the following reasons : (i) the composer/ publisher has died and no one is currently dealing with orders (ii) the publisher is failing to respond to repeated phone calls, faxes or emails (iii) we no longer supply titles from that publisher.

Backorders – Out of Stock Items.

If an item in our on-line catalogue is not marked as 'Available', or we have sold out of it, the item may have to be placed on 'Back Order' and sent on to you as soon as it is back in stock. There may be a small additional postage charge when the item is sent out to you, but no 'minimum charges' apply then or on your original order.

Basically we will charge you a packaging charge ONLY ONCE on any one order. Postage is always AT COST based on the weight of the parcel.

If an out of stock item becomes particularly difficult to obtain, we will keep trying to obtain the item unless you ask us to cancel the back order. If we discover that a title on backorder is 'Reprinting' or has become 'Permanently Out of Print' we will let you know. If you do not require a title that has been on backorder for some time, simply let us know and we will cancel the backorder.

Returns

Returns are not accepted unless by specific arrangement. Please ring first! Any queries relating to your delivery must be notified within 7 days of receipt. We are currently working to give you as much information about each title on our website, before you purchase it, as possible - including PDF images of the music, associated audio mp3 extracts, and an increasing amount of descriptive text and timings for each work. Because of Copyright Laws and Distance Selling Laws,we do not supply music to bands on a sale or return basis. Please ensure that you have quoted the correct arranger of the title you require, as a significant number of titles in our catalogue now have multiple arrangements made of them.

Payment

The fastest way to get your music despatched as quickly as possible is to pay by Credit or Debit Card. To account customers ( Schools, Colleges, Universities and the Armed Forces who send us requisitions), we send our invoice with your order. In return we must have payment within fourteen days, either by credit/debit card, cheque or postal order made payable to JUST MUSIC. If paying by credit/debit card ( the preferred method of payment) please quote (i) your card number (ii) expiry date and (iii) last three digits from the reverse side of you card at the point of ordering. We accept ALL MAJOR CREDIT & DEBIT CARDS cards, including SWITCH.

Account customers who repeatedly fail to pay within ten days will be asked to pay all future orders IN ADVANCE.

New Customers

We are anxious to provide both our existing customers and new customers with music as quickly as possible. However we must ask all new customers for payment with order. If you want the fastest service possible, quote your credit card number when ordering. We are of course happy to accept official orders from educational establishments and the Armed Services.

Overseas Customers

To our ever increasing number of overseas customers, literally from every part of the world, we ask you to pay by CREDIT CARD - it guarantees you the fastest service! Alternatively please pay by

(i) an International Money Order

(ii) a Sterling Cheque drawn on a UK bank - FREE OF ALL BANK CHARGES.

 

(iii) Bank Transfer - please contact us for bank details if you wish to use this option.

 

Postage & Packing

This is added to each order, and charged at cost price. We have a minimum Postage & Packing charge of £2.95 on any one order. When a title goes out of stock and an order has to be filled in two parts ( BACK ORDERED ), only a part charge will be applied to the second part of the order. Swift Air, DHL ,TNT or any other SPECIAL DELIVERY courier service is charged at cost price.

UK Customs & Excise require us to charge VAT on only the Packaging element of each order.

Music is currently VAT free within the UK.

Web Prices

Prices may be subject to change at any time without prior notice, however please take the time to read the following.

We stock in excess of twenty thousand titles sourced from approximately 150 different publishers from all over the world, who all bring out new catalogues at different times in the year, and seldom the same time two years in succession, and almost always without any warning. We do try to keep all our web prices very accurate, but price differences can and do happen. New stock can come in from any of our publishers with a price increase. When this is the case, we will always inform you first. Increasingly much of the music in our catalogue is imported from different countries with regularly (sometimes rapidly) fluctuating exchange rates.

Our prices are those set by the publishers - we neither inflate or discount any price.

Spare Part Availability

Some publishers do and some don't! Supplying spare parts in our experience is not a priority even with most of the publishing houses who do. The message here is, when ordering spare parts please be patient! Cost for spare parts is a minimum of £2.95 per part, and with some pieces significantly more!

Salvationist Publications

We stock and supply a significant number of "Salvation Army" titles.

With many companies now using computer generated scores & parts, hand-written parts are becoming much rarer. Where a set is in manuscript format, we do indicate this as "M/S". All musicians will appreciate that when they are purchasing hand written manuscript parts, the quality is never as good as the current generation of computer generated scores or previously engraved sets.

Privacy Statement

At Just Music your privacy is a priority.

We do not sell or exchange customer information with anyone else. We have established procedures to protect your privacy – and we uphold them vigorously.

Customer information is gathered so we can serve you better.

We make every effort to ensure its security and to treat your information responsibly. When you LOG IN as a returning Just Music Member, we ask for your name, address and phone number. We also ask for your credit card number and its expiry date, if you select that method for payment. For your personal security, we no longer keep credit card details on file. Your order history information is maintained in order to service your account.

Credit card transactions are subject to routine searches from time to time.

When you order from Just Music, you can pay by cheque if you wish.

What if I don't want to send personal information over the Internet?

What steps are taken to keep my personal information private?

Your order information is sent to us through a ‘secure session’ established with Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology encrypts (scrambles) your account information before it is sent to us, making it virtually impossible for anyone other than JUSTMUSICUK.com to read it. We protect all customer data against unauthorised access. We use secure technology, privacy protection controls and restrictions on employee access to safeguard your personal information.

How can I change, correct, or update the information on my account?

When ordering on JUSTMUSICUK.com, you can select “My Account” to give us a different Ship-To Address or change your method of payment.
