The song Feeling Good was written by the English composer! songwriter Leslie Bricusse and the English actor/songwriter! singer Anthony Newley for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint — the Smell of the Crowd, which came out in 1965. It has since been covered by a number of artists including Nina Simone, Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Bublé and George Michael. This arrangement by Stefan Schwalgin, a solo work for trombone and brass band in the big band style of Bublé, is a wonderful addition to the standard repertoire of your band.
